About

Thank you for being here.

This an invitation to explore your mental, sensory, and spiritual landscape. Each time we unroll our mats, we are met with the opportunity to connect with ourselves on a deeper level, guided by breath and presence.

Together, when we create space for movement, play and mindfulness, we create an opportunity for a sense of joy & self-discovery that extends way beyond the mat.

Guiding self-exploration

I'm a facilitator of self-inquiry, here to guide you not just through a series of asanas but also on your path toward understanding your innate wholeness — toward a deeper understanding of yourself within a larger context. Whilst I teach the physical practice of yoga, I ultimately want you walk away feeling empowered, with tools to help you live more curiously, compassionately and confidently.

In my practice, you’ll find an embodied, inquisitive approach, that encourages an intimacy, to use Michael Stone’s word, with the right now, rather than perfection of form or transcendence into another, ā€˜better’ place. You won’t hear me telling you you’re ā€œdoing it wrong,ā€ I feel strongly that yoga is a practice of self-discovery, exploration, liberation and awakening to the luminosity of all that this.

My Toolkit

I bring in a range of techniques and influences to my various classes, workshops and retreats;

  • A dynamic flow linking breath to movement, designed to build strength, mobility, and mindfulness. My approach is generally a slow yet strong flow, focused mostly in active range of motion, so whilst we’ll build flexibility, my goal in class is rarely one of passive stretching.

  • For me an embodied approach is about awakening the the whole of us; welcoming all the various pieces of ourselves to our practice. It’s about creating a nimble, regulated nervous system informed by the fascinating world of Polyvagal Theory. An embodied approach invites us to to come home to ourselves.

  • ā€œDon’t get stuck where it feels goodā€ - Satu Tuomela (founder of Shake the Dust and the Authentic Flow Tribe).

This is a transformative and embodied practice of the bodyheartmind.

Through a guided poetic universe with a theme related to each practice, we journey between perpetual movement, rest, release, and free movement.

With shaking, jumping, dancing, intuitive movement (sometimes including yoga), Pilates, somatics, and bodyweight training—not to mention a kick-ass, carefully curated playlist—this class is designed for anyone, but especially yogis. At its best, it delivers a cathartic release, a great workout, plenty of sweat, and a strong, resilient body.

  • A deeply restorative practice of conscious relaxation. Through guided meditation, Yoga Nidra helps reduce stress, improve sleep, and bring a profound sense of calm and clarity.

  • A practice of focused breathing techniques to enhance energy, mental clarity, and inner balance. Pranayama helps calm the mind, deepen your practice, and connect you to the present moment.

  • A practice of cultivating focus and presence through stillness. Meditation helps calm the mind, reduce stress, and foster a deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.

  • Whether chanting, sounding or using a curated playlist - sound is a hugely important tool to help us ground, regulate and release. If an when I use music, you. can trust its there as a collaborator and not just ā€background musicā€.

What to expect in my classes

Expect a welcoming and lighthearted space, where we can explore the joy of movement and present moment experiencing together.

In my classes the point of inquiry might change, but I’m always interested in each of us becoming more embodied; which very simply starts with a connection to breathing and moving well.

In class, you’ll find a blend of personal insights, Yogic philosophy, seasonal themes, nervous system work, somatic movement, chanting, breath work and asana practice, all set to the rhythm of your breath and often the beat of music.

My Background

With over a decade of personal practice and experience with these practices and almost a lifetime in the world of movement, I hold over 300 hours of training (in foundational training and various CPD including trainings with Calli Popham, Jason Crandell, and Celeste Pereira). I am currently working towards a 300 hours training with the Authentic Flow Tribe having completed a Shake the Dust training with them in June 2025.

My background is creative. A musician, dancer, actor and poet, my teaching style lives in the intersectional spaces; Science and Art. East and West. Movement and Stillness. Inhale and exhale. The solid, material realm and something subtler.

Why I teach

I’m deeply passionate about community and holding space for you — for you to explore, learn and reconnect with yourself. I hope to create a supportive environment where you can move beyond ego and the stories that hold you back and tap into the joy that exists within your practice.

I want to remind you that we can celebrate movement, not just as a form of exercise, but as a way to embrace the beauty of being alive.
